GETTING THERE
1 - the airport is about 15 - 10 min from zihuatanejo, you can easily catch a taxi.

2 - there are big tour type buses that head into town, for $10 a head
and they serve beer for a $1- you can take these as well, just make sure they're going to La Ropa beach
3 - do not rent a car, you will not need it, you can take taxi's everywhere
and once the wedding festivities start, everything is within walking distance
4- driving into Zihua, the barrio's are very "typical mexico". just know it gets better as you drive.
5 - There are ATM's at the airport & in town at the banks, most places should take credit cards (exchange rate is best) and most places will take american dollars as well (they'll give you change back in pesos) exchange rate is roughly 10 pesos to $1
6 - there is a small food market on the beach next to Villa Mexicana and a large grocery just outside town, you'll have to take a taxi there

MISC
1 - it will be HOT & humid - temperature is in the mid 90's and it only cools down to mid 70's at nighttime. there is a chance it will rain, but it's usually a brief afternoon shower
2 - most accomodations will have americanized sockets, so your electrical stuff shouldn't be a problem.
3 - all events are super casual, flip flops, bathing suit & coverups are essential, it's a beach vacation, you can pretty much wear flip flops everywhere. the attire for the ceremony / reception is casual as well:
- guys - the wedding party is wearing shorts & flip flops with oxfords, no need for a suit OR sport coat, unless you want to.
- girls - sundresses, skirts, pants, flip flops, heels..it's up to you. the ceremony isn't on the beach. overall, think tropical & fun, just be comfortable & happy in what your wearing
you'll get a packet of stuff when you get down there, places to eat etc..
